It is hard to believe that this will be my 11th mission trip to Qoya, Peru. While there is never quite the thrill of the first trip to a foreign country. There are the comforts of familiarity and the friendships which have developed over time.
Peru is a beautiful country and the people of the Andes have captured my heart...
I can't wait to play with the beautiful dark eyed children...to smell the the different flowers and trees, the smells of the families cooking...to see the tall Andean mountains against the beauty of the sacred valley.
It is my privilege to be welcomed into their world.
We will do a week of ENT surgery.
I wonder what will capture my heart this year? Tomorrow the adventure begins
